Language tip: “you are a very good learner”. “Well” is the adverb — it just modifies verbs, as in “You speak English very well” (speak well). Adjectives modify nouns (good learner), adverbs modify verbs (to speak [a language] well)

I’m also happy you enjoyed the last episodes. For the past few days, I’ve been working on the podcast and its connections to the Talking People “Useful language” section. I’m trying to organize things better! Hopefully, I’ll finish all that by the end of this week and then start recording. There are two episodes which are on Useful Language but without the audio, plus I would like to record a story and a poem for Advanced students!
I’m learning German at home. I decided I had to do something new and found my university German books and the audios, so I’m using the method I use with you all! And it works! So, if you are worried about speaking, remember that you cannot speak well just because you study the day before (I know you don’t, but that’s what most students do in schools!
). You can only be a good speaker if you have practiced with your mouth and ear, with your body, the language every day.
If you listen to your audios every day and repeat every now and then (three times a week or more! The more, the better!), you will be find. Your level is going to be much higher than this year’s, if you do this. I’ve been a teacher for four years over there and I can tell you that my students did well every year, especially in the Speaking! Just watch the videos! Actually, other teachers ask (básico 1) questions and you just have to answer, but my oral exam is much harder, because in the monologue I ask people to speak without my assistance.
In any case, you should believe me — you are learning a language to communicate with people, not to pass an exam. That’s why passing an exam is irrelevant, and a logical consequence of your learning. If you learn, you will pass! And you are learning a lot!!!
Well, dear women, gotta go back to the podcast! Tomorrow I’ve got two appointments with doctors, so I’m a bit nervous — better said, I’m in a terrible mood! Grrr!
The truth is, I don’t think I’ll be back for a while, really…

-If you feel the object as one on a screen, it’s ON. That’s why we always say “on the Internet”. With “site” we can use the three, though.
“This is definitely going on my blog” – we also feel the blog as a screen.
ON should be your option, OK?
But it’s true that there’s a subjective alternative. Sometimes I’m working on Talking People and I feel I’m IN Talking People.
AT is a particle that indicates, for instance, specific geographical position. That is why we say “I live at number 5 Calle Madrid” but “I live in Calle Madrid”.
So when you say “This info is at http://www.talkingpeople.net/, that’s OK. You’re giving a particular address.

Yes, the episode on how to build a monolog (Describing My House) is very useful because it teaches you how to be good at Textual Structure (tidy). You should watch last year’s Básico students doing it in class in May! They were brilliant! And it will help you learn the vocabulary, yes!
